What is the measuring unit of this flow meter? Litre or gallon?

We can change the measuring unit from litre to gallon according to our client’s request.

Can this flow meter measure the flow rate of water?

No, this flow meter is not suitable for water. This flow meter will rust and stop working if you use it for water. Contact us and we will recommend to you other flow meters which are designed for water.

When installing this meter, where should I put it on the filter?

You need to put the filter in front of the meter so it can prevent foreign objects from jamming the turntable of the meter.

Can I adjust the precision of this mechanical fuel flow meter?

Yes, It is simple and easy to operate. We have a rear screw on the backside of the meter. Removing the screw and then adjusting the internal top-line workbench for adjusting accuracy.

Does it work if I add a 3/4’’ adapter to the meter since I only have a 3/4’’ pipe and hose?

Yes, you can add an appropriate adaptor to the meter depending on your specific situation.

Can I return the counter of this flow meter back to zero?

This flow meter has two counters. You can easily return the 4-digit subtotal counter back to zero by rotating the handwheel manually. But 8-digit total counter is unable to be returned back to zero.

Can I install this flow meter vertically?

Yes, our FM-120-2 mechanical flow meter can be flexibly installed horizontally or vertically.
